Dotonbori Pro - Magnitude Kishiwada & Mikiya Sasaki vs. Daiki Shimomura & Ryota Nakatsu - 2023.02.05
Reading the participants, we are in for a great time! On one side, we got the team of BASARA mainstays Daiki Shimomura and current Union Pro MAX champion Ryota Nakatsu. They face off again over beloved Mikiya Sasaki and Magnitude Kishiwada in the opening match of a Dotonbori Pro show from February 2023!
Shimomura and Sasaki start the match off with some holds and reversals, before both tagging out. Nakatsu and Kishiwada trade off some Shoulder Blocks, before Kishiwada relocates the action to the outside dealing with the BASARA team simultaneously. Both Kishiwada and Sasaki inflict some damage to Shimomura in the following minutes, especially on the arm. Shimomura counters an attack in the corner and is able to tag out to Nakatsu, who hits a nice Dropkick on Sasaki. The recovered Shimomura gets back in and hits a Standing Moonsault on Sasaki for the two count. Sasaki gets a German in, before tagging to Kishiwada. A pin after the Lariat gets broken up by Nakatsu. Kishiwada gets a Brainbuster for another two count on Shimomura and a Splash from the corner. The pin is broken by Nakatsu. Now Nakatsu and Sasaki are facing off again. Sasaki gains the upper hand and wants to lock in the Spinning Toe Hold. They roll up each other a few times and Nakatsu finally pins Sasaki for the win! Fun match!
