The most recent appearance of Mikiya Sasaki on one of the Sanshiro Takagi produced shows happened in August of this year. Sasakis opponent is Yasu Urano, who works mostly for BASARA. Quick recommendation, as he had a 60 Minute Iron Man match with Ikuto Hidaka back in June, which was fabulous!
Back to topic, handshake is done and the match is on! They lock up, with some neat grappling and reversals on the ground with mostly Urano on top. A roll up attempt from Sasaki gets a two. Urano scratches the back of Sasaki and pulls his hair, Sasaki goes into the punch combo but concedes a Enzuigiri. Sasaki gets a two in a pin attempt and tries for his Spinning Toe Hold to no success. The action shifts to the outside, where the ref tries to hold back Shota, while Urano hits Sasaki with the bell hammer on the head! Back in the ring, he shifts the hammer in the back of Sasakis pants and Suplexes him. That seemed painful. Urano shows an Atomic Drop, but the following running move is countered into a reversed Atomic drop by Sasaki. Urano goes to the top rope, but Sasaki hulks up and hits his punch combo while Urano is on top of the turnbuckle. He throws Urano back in the ring and goes to the top turnbuckle. The Axe Handle attempt is countered into an Reverse Atomic Drop. Another Atomic Drop and a German Suplex gets a two on the pin. Sasaki hulks up again and throws a Big Boot and attempts a Leg Drop. Urano evades the Leg Drop and throws Sasaki to the mat. After an Enzuigiri, an Irish Whip should follow, but Sasaki counters it and Shota grabs the lag of Urano from the outside. Urano is irritated and Sasaki wants to follow up with a Spinning Toe Hold, but is rolled up by Urano for the three count!
